How can I purchase a child’s ceramic impression from Posh Little Imprints?

How long does the imprint process take?
Each appointment lasts about 15-20 minutes. You complete the order form with your choice of style, paint and personalization. Paint color samples will be available for your selection. We will have the order form at the event or you may Print the order form available here and bring the completed form with you to your scheduled appointment, this will speed up the process. The actual imprint of your child’s hands or feet only takes a few minutes.

Is this safe for children?
YES! The clay is non-toxic and will feel slightly cold to the touch. Some babies cry because it’s cold but there is nothing to fear — your child is completely safe.  Your child's hands will need to be sanitized with soap and water or baby wipes after the imprint is made.

Are Posh Little Imprint plaques similar to the do it at home kits?
No! The quality of our clay impressions far exceeds the imprint kits available at retail stores – you’ll be able to see ever little fine detail from your child’s hands and feet.  In addition we have a 10-step process that includes painting, glazing and Kiln firing.  Making your Posh Little Imprint far more unique and artful then those purchased at retail stores.

What happens if you are unable to get a neat and clean print?
This is not typical, but we will make 3 attempts to get a good impression. After the 3rd unsuccessful attempt, we'll ask you to return at a later date to try again. As all mothers know, our little ones have good days and bad days and all of this will depend on your child’s cooperation.  We suggest that your child is well rested and fed when you come to your appointment; this will insure that we will get a neat and clean impression. We also recommend that you trim your child’s nails so that we do not run the risk of scratching the clay.

Is there an age limit?
No, there is no age limit. However, there are certain plaques and ornaments that have a size limit. Please call or email us for more information.

When and how do I pay?
You can pay by cash, check ($25.00 charge to all NSF checks), Paypal (via credit card or paypal) at the time your order is placed. California sales tax applies for California residents.

When and how do I get my custom Imprint?
Your Posh Little Imprint will be ready in 6 to 8 weeks. We will call you when it is ready to be picked up at the location the Imprint was made, or for an additional cost it can be shipped via USPS Priority directly to you. Why does it take so long? It takes many steps to get your impression to be a beautiful piece of art and it is all done by hand. We want to make sure that you are completely happy with the impression when you receive it.

What happens if my Imprint gets damaged during production or when shipped to me?
Great care is taken to ensure the quality and undamaged arrival of your print. On the rare occasion that your order is damaged during production or shipping, you can choose a full refund; or a re-print can be done at our next event or at our Corona home studio at no additional cost. Due to the delicate nature of this handcrafted item, minor imperfections will be found on all finished plaque, please read on about Uniqueness of each ware.

Uniqueness of each ware... Please note that each ceramic hand and foot print is unique.  On occasion, defects occur due to misfiring, glaze impurities or material contaminants. If this happens, I will be happy to redo your order at no additional cost or offer a full refund.  Also, since each print is hand made, and therefore, hand painted, your prints may have lighter or darker paint as well as thicker or thinner glaze than the Samples that you see at the Store and/or Online.  I cannot guarantee that your prints will have the exact shade or uniformity of the paint nor the same glaze thickness that you see at the Store and/or Online.  I also, cannot guarantee that you will see all of the lines and/or wrinkles in the hands or feet.  Due to the process of making ceramic art, some of the major lines may be lost or covered with the paint and glaze. 

What if I’m not 100% satisfied?
Customer satisfaction is what our business is built on.  In the event you are not 100% satisfied with your Posh Little Imprint, return it within 7 days and you will receive a full refund (Shipping and home visits are non-refundable).

Do you do group events?
Yes! This is a great way to plan an event for a playgroup, a child’s first birthday party, a Mommy’s Group or a children’s store event. We will come to you and your friends with a minimum order of (8) Posh Little Imprints. Host receives a $10.00 credit for each family that makes a purchase or the group may receive 10% off their order.  Just contact us by phone or email us to schedule your event. Do you give your customers referral rewards?
But of course! There is no better compliment than a referral.  If you refer your friends and family to Posh Little Imprints, you receive a $10.00 gift certificate towards any Posh Little Imprint.  Gift certificates may be combined with no limit.

Can I schedule an individual appointment with you?
Yes! We can accommodate individual appointments at either my home studio on special occasions or schedule a house call for an additional cost (depends on distance from our studio) plus the cost of your Posh Little Imprint. Call, email us or click here to download our Policies for more information.

Can I give one as a gift?
Absolutely! A Posh Little Imprint Gift Certificate is a unique gift for any occasion such as baby showers, a hospital visit for a newborn, christenings, baptisms, birthdays or even special holidays.  Our beautifully branded gift certificates are as unique as the gift they represent.
